Phimosis and redundant prepuce

Clinical interpretation: Both phimosis and redundant prepuce refer to the foreskin covers the whole glans penis. The difference is that redundant prepuce refers to foreskin covers glans penis, thus glans penis can not completely exposed; while phimosis refers to foreskin can’t turn up and down, and the mouth of the foreskin is very small.

Operating Principle :

SPM’s Easy Cision is designed with a patented, functional, and aesthetic structure, making circumcision surgeries safe, painless, and efficient. Its human-centered design ensures patient comfort and quick recovery. The device works like a stapler, using stainless steel suturing nails to neatly join two layers of tissue. This method avoids the issues of manual stitching, such as uneven spacing or tightness, and ensures proper healing. By streamlining the process, SPM’s Easy Cision reduces surgery time and guarantees precise, consistent results for a smoother surgical experience.

    Instructions :

Simple Instructions for Circumcision Stapler Surgery:

Follow the hospital’s preparation rules. First, do the necessary medical tests and measure the size of the glans using a caliper (experienced doctors may not need a caliper). Select the right size of the disposable circumcision stapler. Disinfect the area and give local anesthesia or another type of anesthesia. If the patient has conditions like an adherent foreskin or a short frenulum, treat these before the circumcision.

Turn the adjustment knob on the circumcision stapler counterclockwise to remove the concave seat at the front of the device.

Place the concave seat under the foreskin. If the foreskin is stuck, separate it. For phimosis, expand the opening using scissors. Make sure the foreskin wraps around the concave seat and covers the glans properly, leaving a bit of frenulum to avoid cutting it.

Remove the protective cap from the nail compartment, then insert the screw of the concave seat into the main body of the stapler. Tighten the adjustment knob by turning it clockwise until the screw is secure. An experienced doctor can adjust it based on how it feels.

Confirm that the foreskin is positioned correctly and isn’t too loose. Once everything looks good, remove the safety pin.

Squeeze the stapler handle for about 5-10 seconds to complete the circumcision. Use dry gauze to absorb any blood.

Release the handle, then slowly turn the adjustment knob counterclockwise to loosen the stapler. After loosening, gently remove the device along with the cut foreskin. If the foreskin is stuck, press it lightly with fingers or scissors until it separates naturally. Avoid rough movements to prevent tearing the wound.

Check if the wound is completely stitched. If not, add stitches where needed. The wound should be smooth with the stitches slightly raised.

    • Disinfect the wound, cover it with dry gauze, and wrap it with an elastic bandage for 3-5 hours. The patient should follow the doctor’s advice, avoid heavy activity, and prevent erections. Alcohol, seafood, and sexual intercourse are forbidden for one month after surgery.

This simplified process will help ensure a smooth and safe circumcision procedure.
